WECU Cork Underlayment Warranty

The warranty for WECU cork underlayment includes it being free from manufacturing defects in material as well as workmanship. The duration of the warranty is 20 years from the date of the purchase.

Any claim concerning thickness, width, length or other visible proof of defects or false compliance of the clients specified order, can only be accepted if presented to us in writing prior to the installation. Our liability is limited to the replacement of the defective merchandise or the refund of same at the equal price invoiced by us.

This warranty does not cover:

1. Labor or other expenses related to replacement.
2. Damage that occurs during the transportation of merchandise.
3. Defects that are not related to the manufacturing process.
4. Problems caused after the installation through inferiority of the substrate of infiltration of water from below or above.
5. Ignorance of our and the adhesive manufacturer’s installation instructions
6. Installed merchandise which was visibly defect or not acceptable as specified above.
7. Verbal promises by our personnel. Only written commitments signed by authorized employees are valid.

We do not accept any return of merchandise unless such request has been presented to us in writing and accepted by us in writing.
